This new Callistemon variety has lovely red shoots and pretty red flowers. More compact than other varieties, it makes a good container plant. Plant in March; blooms from June through August.

Planting
Remove the plant from its container and thoroughly soak the root ball. Place the plant (not too deeply) in a hole with a mixture of loose soil and topsoil around the root-ball, gently tamping the earth. Water in.
Maintenance
Water frequently in the year after planting and then reduce the frequency of watering. We recommend pruning during the first three years of growth for an attractive, branching plant, especially when grown in a container.
