Sarcococca confusa



This dense shrub has small, shiny, dark-green leaves that somewhat resemble those of boxwood. This evergreen foliage is lit up by tiny, white, highly-fragrant flowers at the end of the winter, from January to March. Dark reddish-black berries follow the flowers.
