Native to Mexico, this rare plant has beautiful cranberry-colored flowers from July to October. An evergreen shrub with deeply lobed, grayish-green velvety leaves.

In flowerbeds or containers. For mild climates.
Planting
Remove the plant from its container and thoroughly soak the root ball. Place the plant (not too deeply) in a hole with a mixture of loose soil, sandtype material and topsoil around the root-ball, gently tamping the earth. Water in.
Maintenance
Water well the first year. Mulch the stump at the beginning of winter if necessary. Apply an appropriate fertiliser in spring.
