This small, semi-hardy evergreen shrub produces magnificent light-purple blossoms with dark centres and pretty serrated foliage. Flowers in summer. Plant in full sun and well-drained soil in April or May; blooms from June through September.

Planting
Remove the plant from its container and thoroughly soak the root ball. Place the plant (not too deeply) in a hole with a mixture of loose soil and topsoil around the root-ball, gently tamping the earth. Water in.
Maintenance
Prune after flowering. Add fertiliser at the end of spring for a profusion of blossom.
