Planting
Prefers well-drained soils. Add pebbles or sand to heavy soils to prevent an excess of moisture in winter. Water well after planting.
Maintenance
Reduce the frequency of watering once the plant is established. Add fertiliser in May to encourage the development of new rings of foliage.
